ElKanteen operates as a structured transaction facilitation layer within participating schools and youth-focused venues.

ElKanteen provides: • Digital wallet interface • Transaction validation • Policy-based spending controls • Institutional monitoring tools • Structured reporting

ElKanteen does not: • Prepare or sell food • Operate physical venues • Control product pricing • Provide banking services • Hold user funds

We are a technology platform designed to structure and monitor spending within institutional environments.

ElKanteen is designed for use within youth environments.

Students under 18 may only access the Platform through a registered parent or legal guardian.

Parents are fully responsible for: • Account funding • Account supervision • Transaction monitoring • Ensuring compliance with institutional rules

The Platform reflects institutional policies but does not replace parental responsibility.

When creating an account, you agree to: • Provide accurate information • Maintain confidentiality of credentials • Notify us of unauthorized access

We may suspend accounts where misuse, fraud, or policy violations are suspected.

The wallet visible within the Platform is a digital interface only.

All funds: • Are processed by a licensed third-party Payment Service Provider (PSP) • Are held by the PSP • Are not held or controlled by ElKanteen

ElKanteen does not act as a financial institution, deposit-taking entity, or money transfer operator.

Funds stored through the PSP do not generate interest.

All payment processing timelines are subject to PSP procedures.

Parents may initiate wallet top-ups through supported payment methods.

Refund requests may be submitted within the Platform interface.

Refund approval may depend on: • Institutional rules • Operator policies • Transaction timing

Approved refunds are executed by the PSP.

ElKanteen facilitates refund communication but does not control banking timelines.

ElKanteen operates within structured environments defined by participating institutions.

Institutions determine: • Spending limits • Approved categories • Usage rules • Operational parameters

The Platform digitally reflects these rules but does not override institutional authority.

You agree not to: • Attempt unauthorized system access • Interfere with platform security • Manipulate refund mechanisms • Use the Platform for fraudulent purposes

Violation may result in account restriction or termination.

We strive to maintain continuous service; however, availability may be affected by: • Maintenance • Technical interruptions • Third-party system outages

ElKanteen does not guarantee uninterrupted service.

The Platform integrates with licensed third-party providers, including PSPs.

ElKanteen is not responsible for: • Banking delays • PSP outages • Third-party processing errors

Financial services are governed by the PSP's own regulatory framework.

User data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Student access is role-based and supervised through parental accounts.

We process only the data necessary to operate the Platform securely and effectively.

ElKanteen provides digital infrastructure only.

We are not responsible for: • Food quality or safety • Operator conduct • Institutional policy decisions • Indirect or consequential damages

Our liability, where applicable, shall not exceed the value of the disputed transaction processed through the Platform.

We may suspend or terminate access if: • These Terms are violated • Fraudulent behavior is suspected • An institution discontinues participation • Required by applicable regulation

Termination does not affect accrued rights or obligations.

All software, branding, and system architecture related to ElKanteen remain the property of ElKanteen Tec LLC.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform materials without written consent.

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect operational or regulatory changes.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
